Here are photos from the mock food editorial spread I had to do for uni. I’ll get you guys’ tastebuds all hot n heavy from the photos before I take the time to write up the recipes for the individual dishes. 

Most people in my uni course bought food and photographed it, lazy bastards. I bought about $70+ worth of ingredients and cooked everything myself, like a BOSS. Took a whole day. The only thing I didn’t make from scratch were the cupcakes, but that’s because I’m not so great at baked goods just yet.

Yes, it took a while to get through ALL THAT FOOD after I shot it all. 

Love food? I love it so much I made a blog for all my food adventures!

As a bonus, all of it is vegan, and most of it is damn healthy! I’ll also be adding recipes, so you can steal my meals! (without actually stealing them, because, fuck you, I’m hungry too.)

Vegan pizza with a savory veggie broth crust! This is pretty similar to the crust we normally make, but with veggie broth in place of water and extra spices to amp up the flavor. Delicious and savory and not at all subtle. Like eating a bowl of vegan chicken noodle soup with your pizza!
Oh yeah, it’s topped with red sauce, oregano, mozzarella Daiya, and Lightlife pepperoni. Simple yet amazing!

Vegan Chik’n Fajita Pizza

This might be the best pizza idea I’ve ever had haha

I was trying to decide what to make for dinner: fajitas or pizza? So I had the thought of combining the two.. and omg. Best decision ever. 

I fried up Bulter Soy Curls (which by the way, BEST DISCOVERY EVER), fajita sauce, onions and bell pepers. Put that lovely mixture on top of store-bought pizza crust (don’t judge) and sprinkled Daiya mozzarella on top. It is SO DELICIOUS. Oh boy.

Background:  red sauce, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella Follow Your Heart Cheese,  black olives, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn and green beans,  topped with a little extra cheese for binding, in that order and on a  fluffy white pizza crust
Foreground:  red sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, green beans and tater  tots, topped with just a sprinkle of mozzarella Follow Your Heart  cheese, in that order and on a Not-So-Thin Whole Wheat Crust

Another PCMIV x DyingBody pizza night collaboration:

  1. Spinach-arugula pesto (basil, spinach, arugula, parsley, lemon juice, pine nuts, garlic, shallots, olive oil) with mozzarella Daiya and caramelized red onions
  2. Sundried tomato pesto (sundried tomatoes, mint, basil, walnuts, garlic, olive oil) with balsamic-glazed tofu, toasted pine nuts, caramelized red onions, arugula, and sliced garlic
