Characters. London is full of them, like this gentleman checking Oyster passes at Oxford Circus Tube Station. If it were not for the mad rush of travelers making for the gates with the same urgency as fresh water Salmon migrating upstream, I would have liked to have spoken with him. Was he a real punk for the famed London scene of the 70’s? How does his obvious loyalty to punk fit in with his day job?

It was a perfect reminder to never be shy to express who you are. Expression doesn’t have to mean segregation or rebellion - authentic expression may be a little left-of-center, but as it comes from the heart it can add a little color to your days and those around you. (So impressed London Transport allow this too!)

Want to photograph more characters this next week.

It’s uber blonde (with a little bit of orange that used to be black, and will be blonde soon) with my still black fringe.

But the main difference is the length.

Omg. It’s short. I had to cut off a lot of my dead hair and split ends. Apparently I had a lot of it. This is what happens when you don’t trim your hair. I’ve learnt from my mistake now.

It will take getting used to, because I’ve had really long hair for at least 2 years now. But yeah, it wasn’t really growing any more due to the split ends. So now I’m going to start growing it out again, and doing it right!

Plus side - it looks thicker, I can actually run my fingers through it without it getting caught, it’s too short to get tangled on my nipple piercings, I can get it into a proper mohawk now. 

I will miss my waist length hair, but it was already losing length & thinning out at the bottom. I know it needed the cut, but it’s still sad D: haha…
